Senior Project Manager

Note for candidates: Due to project security requirements, Australian citizenship is essential.

  • Big impact, real change: You'll be part of projects that actually make a difference - modernising systems that keep things running smoothly for communities and organisations.
  • Room to grow: You'll have the space, tools, and trust to do your best work - and have a bit of fun along the way.
  • Collaborative culture: Work with smart, supportive people who back each other, focus on outcomes, and keep things moving without unnecessary red tape.

About the Company:

A leading IT services provider with a strong track record of helping organisations modernise and deliver smarter, more connected solutions. With extensive experience across government and enterprise clients, they deliver large-scale technology projects that make a real impact. The company values collaboration, trust, and supporting their people to succeed.
About the role

The ERP Project Manager will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery of ERP solutions. You will collaborate with goverment stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end large complex ERP implementation projects for local government clients.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting.
  • Leading cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment between business, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and council policies.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience managing large, complex projects, preferably in ERP, CRM, or EDW environments.
  • Proven ability to lead collaborative teams and drive projects to successful delivery.
  • Strong understanding of technical software implementations and associated dependencies.
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid financial management experience, with insight into how costs, resource allocation, and revenue interact.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methods.
