As the Security Architect, you will design, assure, and guide secure technology architectures across complex ICT ecosystems, with a focus on health, aged care and disability-related platforms. You will ensure systems are secure by design, aligned to Australian Government cyber security frameworks, and resilient against emerging threats - all while enabling the delivery of critical services to Australians.
You will develop and document cyber security architectures, review design collateral for compliance with ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight controls, and provide expert security guidance to architects and designers. You will identify and address cyber security deficiencies, contribute to system authorisation and IRAP assessments, and advise stakeholders on policy impacts across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
Who are we looking for?
Must have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in cyber security architecture within complex ICT environments.
- Deep knowledge of Australian Government cyber security frameworks (ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight).
- Experience supporting system authorisation and assurance activities, including IRAP.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to assess and design security controls across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
Desirable:
- Industry certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, CISM or equivalent.
- 10+ years' experience across IT environments in security application design or development.
