About the role:
We're currently partnering with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a key finance systems uplift initiative.
This role will suit someone who brings strong technical delivery capability within finance environments and has hands-on experience with Ariba. This is not a generalist PM position - we're looking for someone who understands finance platforms and vendor-led system transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale finance systems uplift, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners, driving accountability, performance, and alignment to key milestones.
- Establish and maintain strong governance across the program, including reporting, RAID management, financial tracking, and milestone oversight.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Technology stakeholders to define requirements, manage expectations, and ensure seamless delivery.
- Translate business needs into clear delivery plans, ensuring technical solutions align with strategic objectives.
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years' demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives as a Senior Technical Project Manager within enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience delivering Ariba initiatives in a finance setting
- Proven track record leading technology programs within financial services or corporate finance functions
- Experience managing vendor-led implementations and system transformations
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
