Level 2 Technical Support Specialist

We are partnered with a leading retail organisation with a global presence, who due to an increase in project work are seeking a Level 2 Technical Suport Specialist to support their retail stores remotely across Australia. Based in their Sydney office, you'll manage escalated IT incidents, focusing on retail hardware support, dispatching and remote configuration to ensure smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve Level 2 IT incidents for store systems
Handle escalations from Service Desk and Store Operations
Coordinate hardware dispatch and field technician activities
Perform remote setup and configuration (software, drivers, system settings)
Troubleshoot POS, printers, EFTPOS pinpads, networking, and phone systems
Maintain incident queues and document repeatable processes
Transition standard tasks to the Level 1.5 offshore team
Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years of technical support
Strong Windows environment knowledge
- Network troubleshooting, software troubleshooting & patching
Experience with POS and retail hardware support is essential
Networking and wireless troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with ITIL and ServiceNow
Excellent communication, organisation, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
