About the Role
Responsible for conceiving and refining solution architectures, the Program Solutions Architect ensures the timely delivery of technical designs for all project initiatives across business units and divisions. You will be operating within a collaborative team environment alongside other solution architects, Technology Champions, and Security Architects. Aiding other solution architects across diverse projects, facilitating design evaluations and integrating project-specific designs into the program blueprint.
- Delve into the intricacies of current and proposed solution architectures, meticulously assessing technical designs to guarantee that programs or projects are fully equipped to meet the needs of stakeholders and customers alike. Ensure seamless alignment with their requirements through robust Business Requirements Specifications (BRS), effectively bridging the gap between customer expectations and the current or future IT capabilities.
- Lead the development of architectures, encompassing technical designs and solutions pertinent to the program or project, with a keen focus on ensuring that deliverables adhere to the Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework, principles, and governance processes.
- Ensure solutions align with the strategic direction for technology investments, ensure that solutions are developed, tested, and implemented accordingly in line with the technology roadmap, and report on solution delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agree upon timeframes.
Skills & Experience
- At least 5+ years’ experience in defining applications solutions architecture and design, integrations, infrastructure, and cloud architectures, such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google cloud and hybrid services.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of TOGAF (certification in TOGAF or equivalent)
- Experience in the following technologies/frameworks:
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Digital technology and development; and Service Orientated Architecture (SOA).
- Experience in transformation programs such as data centre refresh and/or migration to cloud.
- Integration architecture experience including iPaaS, API Gateways, ETL, ESB and related technologies (e.g., REST, JSON, etc).
- Knowledge of Virtualisation platforms, such as VMware, OpenShift etc.
- Prior experience in AWS, Azure, and/or Google cloud services.
