Principal Change Lead - AI Transformation

Contract Opportunity | Sydney CBD

About the Organisation

This organisation is undertaking a significant enterprise transformation focused on embedding AI-enabled capabilities across its operating environment. As part of a broader strategic initiative, the business is investing in new technologies, operating model evolution, and workforce capability uplift to enable scalable, AI-supported ways of working across multiple business units.

This engagement offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping how AI-enabled operating models are designed, adopted, and embedded across a complex enterprise environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Change Lead to drive the people, process, and operating model aspects of an enterprise-wide AI transformation. This role will focus on enabling the transition to AI-enabled ways of working, ensuring organisational structures, governance, and workforce capability evolve alongside new autonomous and AI-supported workflows.

Working closely with senior business leaders, technology teams, and People & Culture functions, you will lead the design and delivery of change strategies that support adoption at scale. The role requires a strong focus on operating model alignment, workforce readiness, and embedding sustainable behavioural and process change as AI becomes integrated into core business operations.

This is a senior role suited to someone experienced in complex transformation environments who can operate confidently across executive stakeholders while maintaining delivery momentum across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead change strategy and execution across AI and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
  • Support the design and implementation of future-state operating models aligned to AI-enabled and autonomous ways of working.
  • Provide an enterprise view of change impacts across concurrent initiatives, ensuring coordinated and sequenced delivery.
  • Develop and deliver change artefacts including impact assessments, engagement strategies, communications, training approaches, and readiness plans.
  • Partner with executive and senior leadership teams to support adoption and behavioural change.
  • Enable workforce capability uplift to support AI-enabled roles and processes.
  • Establish effective governance and change frameworks to support sustainable adoption.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders on organisational change and transformation risk.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience leading change within large-scale, enterprise transformation programs.
  • Strong experience supporting technology-led change, ideally including AI, automation, data, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to or supporting operating model design and implementation.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Strong delivery capability across multiple workstreams in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and stakeholder management skills.

Apply now to play a key role in shaping how AI-enabled operating models and future ways of working are embedded at enterprise scale.
