About the Role

We are recruiting for a PMO Analyst to support high-impact defence projects within a fast-paced, complex environment. In this role, you'll partner with technical, operational, and project teams to ensure these initiatives run smoothly-from planning and documentation to execution, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in secure, multi-disciplinary environments. You'll play a key role in contributing to meaningful national-level defence programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities across multiple projects and service streams to ensure timely delivery
  • Support the implementation of project plans, including scope, milestones, and dependencies
  • Act as the central point of coordination between technical, operational, and leadership teams
  • Help troubleshoot delivery challenges by gathering information and aligning stakeholders
  • Assist with contract-related tasks, including tracking obligations, managing documentation, and supporting compliance
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across teams and with stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain essential project materials such as schedules, logs, status reports, and governance documents
  • Monitor risks and issues, escalating when necessary and supporting mitigation strategies
  • Analyse delivery data and performance metrics to provide meaningful insights
  • Foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement-focused team culture

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years' experience as a PMO Analyst or in a similar coordination role, ideally within defence projects
  • Hands-on experience with contract coordination and compliance
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience managing project documentation
  • Proactive problem-solver, able to identify risks and support solutions
  • Strong analytical and solutions-focused mindset
  • Confident communicator, skilled at working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience tracking progress and providing clear updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborative, driven, and committed to delivering results in complex, defence-focused environments
