Business Analyst - NV1 Cleared (National Opportunity)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a high-profile Federal Government program focused on assessing scientific and ICT systems within a specialised operational environment.
This is a national opportunity, open to candidates across Australia, with a requirement for current NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
About the Role
You will play a key role in analysing and documenting business processes, system requirements, and support models across a complex ICT and scientific environment.
Working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will deliver clear, structured outputs to support informed decision-making and future capability planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage key stakeholders to document the scope of work to be completed and the required end products to be presented to Forensic Management.
- Engage with stakeholders of various ICT Systems within Forensics Command to assess and capture their support requirements, system requirements and business processes.
- Engage with stakeholders within our client to assess and capture current support arrangements, system infrastructure and business processes that affect Forensics Command.
- Prepare and document a report for Forensics Command detailing the previously stated points.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex ICT environments
- Engaging with stakeholders at both technical and non-technical levels;
- Capturing business processes related to ICT and/or Forensic Systems;
- Capturing ICT System requirements including Scientific Equipment;
- Knowledge of:
- Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) / Essential Eight
- ITIL Service Management practices
- Ability to translate complex problems into clear, actionable solutions
