🚀 What You'll Be Doing
As a Systems & Cloud Engineer, you'll manage a blend of Windows, Linux, virtualization, and Azure environments. You'll maintain scalable solutions, automate tasks, and ensure system performance and security across the infrastructure stack.
🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & Virtualization
Implement, and maintain Azure cloud solutions with a focus on performance, cost optimization, and high availability.
Manage VMware Cloud Foundation environments, from virtual machine deployments to storage administration.
Troubleshoot virtualization and cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Windows & Linux Administration
Install, configure, and support Windows Server environments and core services.
Administer Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS), including kernel tuning, performance optimization, and package management.
Create and manage user accounts, access controls, and secure authentication methods.
Automation & Monitoring
Develop scripts (Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and streamline system management.
Use monitoring tools to proactively manage system health and performance.
Generate regular reports for capacity planning, incidents, and performance metrics.
Security & Compliance
Implement system hardening and security best practices to protect data and maintain compliance.
Analyze logs, audit activity, and respond swiftly to potential threats or vulnerabilities.
Collaboration & Support
Work cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and application teams to ensure cohesive system operations.
Respond to incidents and service requests, documenting resolutions and escalating when needed.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and help shape best practices for continuous improvement.
Configuration Management
Utilize tools like Ansible or Puppet for consistent and scalable system provisioning and configuration.

Solid experience in Windows Server and Linux system administration.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies.
Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
Familiarity with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or similar).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
