About the Role
As a Senior IT Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering the technology roadmap across a large, multi-site retail network. You'll partner closely with architecture, product, and project teams to design and implement secure, scalable solutions that enhance in-store technology performance and resilience.
This role combines strategic influence with hands-on technical delivery, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with architecture and product teams to define and execute the IT roadmap for store and loss prevention technology.
Lead technical deployments and solution rollouts across a large distributed retail footprint.
Collaborate with vendors and project managers to deliver complex technical initiatives on time and within scope.
Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise security and compliance standards.
Contribute to the development of lifecycle roadmaps and transition processes for support and operations.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience designing and deploying IT solutions within large-scale or multi-site environments (retail experience highly regarded).
Strong technical expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem, including:
Windows Server & Active Directory
Group Policy management
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration / imaging
Experience managing MDM platforms and Android mobile devices.
Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS), Payments, Inventory, and Loss Prevention systems.
Strong documentation and process management skills.
