About the Role
An established Government entity is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to join their team to work on a Digital Modernisation Project. This role is integral to the successful implementation of modern, agile, digital capabilities within the organisation.
As the SAP Project Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Program Delivery and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful implementation of SAP projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing comprehensive project plans, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and managing resources effectively.
- Identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring smooth adoption of SAP solutions, maintaining quality standards, and addressing issues promptly.
- Tracking progress, coordinating with external vendors, and liaising with the key stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager, possessing certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and technologies - specific experience successfully leading successful SAP implementation projects – preferably within Government organisations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the capacity to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
