About the Role: As the Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in CE3 of the Joint Data Network (JDN) project. Your primary focus will be on platform modernization to enhance connectivity within the JDN framework. This is an ongoing opportunity to contribute to the evolution of defence capabilities, with the potential for long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the Engineering Manager for one of the Capability Elements (CEs) of the overall program. The specific work is on CE3 addressing platform modernisation to allow connectivity into the JDN
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive platform modernization initiatives.
- Uphold One Defence Capability Lifecycle standards throughout project execution.
- Provide expertise on CASG Engineering Policy requirements to ensure compliance.
- Leverage previous experience in defence projects to deliver high-impact results.
- Contribute insights on RF networks to optimize connectivity within the JDN.
- Strong background in Systems Engineering, with a focus on defence applications.
- Thorough understanding of the One Defence Capability Lifecycle and its implications.
- Familiarity with CASG Engineering Policy requirements (preferred).
- Proven track record in delivering Defence Capability projects.
- Knowledge of RF networks and their role in modern defense systems (advantageous).
