The Network are seeking an AGSVA NV1 cleared Azure Cloud Engineer working inside a Federal Government Department.

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will design, build, and enhance enterprise cloud platforms within a Microsoft Azure environment. You will deliver secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure, drive automation and Infrastructure as Code, and support a multi-cloud ecosystem including AWS. Working closely with cyber security, networks, and delivery teams, you will uplift cloud capability, improve governance, and ensure alignment with architecture and compliance standards.
You will support ongoing platform improvements by engineering solutions, embedding automation, enhancing monitoring and observability, and contributing to cost optimisation and cloud governance.
Who are we looking for:
Must have:
o Strong experience designing and engineering solutions in Microsoft Azure (AWS exposure desirable).
o Proven experience delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud platforms.
Have specialist ICT skills and knowledge in the following:
o Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
o Azure core services (VMs, App Services, Storage, VNets, Azure SQL).
o Identity and access management (Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities).
o Cloud security controls (Defender for Cloud, NSGs, Key Vault, Private Endpoints).
o Monitoring, logging, and observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
o Automation and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
o Cloud governance including policies, tagging, and management groups.
o Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity design.
o Hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute) and identity integration.
o Troubleshooting complex cloud issues and supporting Level 3 incidents.
Experience working with cyber security teams, compliance frameworks, and multi-disciplinary stakeholders highly regarded.
