About the role

Seeking a Planning Scheduler/ Planning Manager to support the Infrastructure Planning team and provide a wide range of experience, knowledge and skills, including, but not limited to:

  • Provide Schedule management guidance and support to the Project Managers, including the development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and in identifying intra-program dependencies, schedule risk and issues
  • Translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes in to a production plan with a time-phased build scheme
  • Ensure all aspects of the project's multiple timelines are accurately captured, maintained, analysed and coordinated
  • Sustain effective, collaborative relationships and networking with all internal clients and external stakeholders
  • Assist with project management tasks, including project scheduling, risk and issue management, status reporting, planning, documentation, and project reviews


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, candidates will need:

  • IT Project Coordination Experience (Prince2/ PMBOK)
  • Experience with visualisations and process mapping tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Vision etc)
  • Knowledge of best practice project management methodologies and toolsets including advanced skills and expertise with Microsoft Project
  • Skills in the development, provision, and/or management of the success of metrics
  • Proven experience around Complex Program Scheduling/Master Scheduling

Skills & Experience
Successful individuals will demonstrate a range of experience across general coordination and administrative functions, including:

  • 5+ years full project management/coordination experience
  • Worked with IT project managers to ensure delivery of work items
  • Well developed self organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships
  • Experience in the development and establishment of scheduling and dependency management processes and standards
  • Demonstrated experience in managing all documents, policies and procedures, standards and specifications.
  • Have the ability to obtain a Baseline Clearance
