About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Performance, Monitoring & Reporting Lead to support a major Defence program. This role plays a critical part in analysing performance measures, developing meaningful KPIs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality operational reports.
You will collaborate across multiple teams, provide subject matter expertise, support decision-making, and contribute to the continuous improvement of performance measurement frameworks and reporting processes. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a PMO mindset, and a passion for data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse financial, customer satisfaction, and operational performance metrics to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver accurate and timely operational performance reports, ensuring high standards of quality, reliability, and completeness.
- Act as a subject matter expert in performance measurement, guiding the team and contributing to key decisions across multiple workstreams.
- Lead, support, and coordinate team activities, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and performance objectives.
- Develop and implement enhanced performance measurement processes, supporting ongoing optimisation and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and interpret data for integrated reporting.
- Prepare and present performance reporting to stakeholders, offering clear commentary and actionable recommendations.
- Train and mentor new team members on performance measurement tools, frameworks, and reporting best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Intermediate proficiency in performance measurement and reporting frameworks.
- Foundational proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and validation.
- Experience with PMO practices, KPI development, and structured reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to develop solutions applicable across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and presentation capability.
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
Working Requirements
- Must be willing to work 5 days onsite (secure Defence environment).
- Must hold NV1 Security Clearance.
