The Network are seeking an NV1 AGSVA cleared Lead Cyber Security Advisor to work inside a Federal Government environment.
12 months + 2 x 12 month extensions

You will work within a fast-paced ICT cyber security team conducting security risk assessments across complex ICT environments. You will contribute to the development and review of key security documentation including System Security Plans (SSPs) and System Security Plan Annexes (SSP-A) while ensuring alignment with PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight frameworks.
You will assess risks across Azure cloud, legacy ICT systems, AI technologies and complex environments, provide guidance on secure system and application design, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate risks and security recommendations. You will also present risk assessments and findings to senior executive audiences and support initiatives that strengthen the department's overall cyber security posture.
Who are we looking for:
Must have:
- 3-5 years' experience working within Government cyber teams conducting security risk assessments.
- Experience performing risk assessments across Azure Cloud, legacy ICT systems, AI technologies and complex ICT environments.
- Strong working knowledge of PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight frameworks.
- Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on cyber risks and recommendations.
- Experience presenting risk assessments and security findings to senior executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of networking infrastructure.
Desirable:
- Understanding or exposure to Operational Technologies (OT) environments.
