About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Networking Engineer to support the sustainment, evolution, and assurance of complex, deployed ICT environments operating in high-assurance and mission-critical settings.
This role is focused on the design, integration, and technical assurance of communication networks that support operational capability beyond traditional enterprise environments. You will work closely with engineers, architects, vendors, and assurance teams to ensure network solutions are robust, secure, and fit for purpose across their full lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Provide detailed reporting on current network technologies, architectures, and topologies
Lead the design and development of networking requirements for complex ICT systems
Evaluate and recommend candidate network hardware, software, and integration solutions
Support subsystem and system-level integration activities
Identify, analyse, and resolve complex network and program support deficiencies
Work with vendors to assess products, support implementation, and resolve technical issues
Produce high-quality engineering artefacts including HLDs, configuration documents, build guides, SOPs, QA plans, and objective quality evidence
Support technical assurance, verification, and lifecycle sustainment activities
Essential Skills & Experience
Extensive experience designing and integrating enterprise or deployed network environments
Strong understanding of secure and regulated ICT environments
Proven ability to produce engineering documentation and assurance artefacts
Experience working across multiple stakeholders and vendors
Ability to operate autonomously in complex, high-assurance programs
