About the Company

Our client offers a full suite of ICT services, operating five market divisions, servicing both large and small corporations.

About the role

Due to growth, we have an opening for a Level 2 Network Engineer role. Provide end user support to our clients, troubleshoot problems, and advise on the appropriate action.

Responsibilities

  1. Respond to requests for technical assistance as escalated by Level 1 team members.
  2. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware, software, Phone & Fax incidents
  3. Advise team members on appropriate action.
  4. Follow standard service desk procedures.
  5. Log all service desk interactions.
  6. Redirect problems to correct resource.
  7. Administration Level Support of network.
  8. Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
  9. Implement new systems and processes.
  10. Monitoring and managing design changes related to domain management, incident management, patch management, vulnerability management, remote access, access control and capacity planning.

Requirements

  1. Technical knowledge and experience with Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba and Cisco.
  2. Technical knowledge and experience networking for Microsoft Azure, Office 365.
  3. Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications.
  4. Knowledge and experience of customer service practices.
  5. Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing service desk support.
  6. Excellent troubleshooting skills (Desktop, servers, network, Phone & Fax).
  7. Experience supporting:

- Network Infrastructure, edge and core, wireless technologies, SD wan technologies, firewalls, understanding of cloud environments and, Proficiency with Certificate Services.

Criteria

Must be an Australian citizen with a minimum of 3 years work experience in MSP environments and will have a current National Criminal Check (Police check) that is less than 12 months old.
