Level 2 Network Engineer

About the role
Due to growth, we have an opening for a Level 2 Network Engineer role. Provide end user support to our clients, troubleshoot problems, and advise on the appropriate action.
Responsibilities
- Respond to requests for technical assistance as escalated by Level 1 team members.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware, software, Phone & Fax incidents
- Advise team members on appropriate action.
- Follow standard service desk procedures.
- Log all service desk interactions.
- Redirect problems to correct resource.
- Administration Level Support of network.
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
- Implement new systems and processes.
- Monitoring and managing design changes related to domain management, incident management, patch management, vulnerability management, remote access, access control and capacity planning.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge and experience with Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba and Cisco.
- Technical knowledge and experience networking for Microsoft Azure, Office 365.
- Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications.
- Knowledge and experience of customer service practices.
- Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing service desk support.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills (Desktop, servers, network, Phone & Fax).
- Experience supporting:
- Network Infrastructure, edge and core, wireless technologies, SD wan technologies, firewalls, understanding of cloud environments and, Proficiency with Certificate Services.
Criteria
Must be an Australian citizen with a minimum of 3 years work experience in MSP environments and will have a current National Criminal Check (Police check) that is less than 12 months old.
