About the role
Our client is looking for a proactive and client-centric IT Helpdesk Support specialist to become a part of their team. The objective of this role is to provide value to customers by continuously enhancing and supporting customer-facing digital systems in alignment with the product roadmap. Key responsbilites:
- Provide first level support, identifying issues which require more complex support and ensuring their timely escalation.
- Perform Active Directory user maintenance activities such as the creation of new accounts, deletion of old accounts and account permission changes.
- Provide basic training to users in response to support requests. Undertake laptop and desktop maintenance as required (e.g. bug fixes and patches etc.).
- Offer outstanding customer service and technical support to both internal and external customers for the Customer Digital Systems and IT Helpdesk.
- Act as the primary expert on Customer Digital Systems and serve as the escalation point for the Helpdesk
- Acquire and uphold knowledge of all systems and solutions to facilitate appropriate troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents as needed.
- Ensure adherence to the phone queue schedule specified in the roster and offer supplementary assistance on the Helpdesk queue as needed on a spontaneous basis.
- Offer backup chat and email support to offshore resources handling Customer Digital Systems.
- Examine and offer feedback to enhance the design and execution of improved end-to-end customer experiences for all Customer Digital Systems.

Skills & experience
- Graduate University or a minimum of 12-months of experience in a Desktop Support / Services Desk position;
- Sound knowledge of Windows environments including Active Directory, Office 365 suite including admin, Exchange, SharePoint and LAN/WAN technologies
- Ability to manage high level of call volumes whilst adhering to KPIs and SLAs.
- Experience supporting Android and iOS
- Most importantly, you are a "people person" and enjoy working with technology and the business.
