Our client who is a start up business who is part of a larger group. After identifying a huge gap within a essential market within Australia they have relaeased a new SaaS product. As this product is maturing they are now looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join the team on this exciting journey.
In this role you will take finalise the architecure of 11 modules, guide the development team and own the tech stack. This is a role that will be both challenging and rewarding keeping you busy and entertained. Work within a team that values individuality, promotes team work and has fun while getting the job done.
In this role they are using the following tech stack:
- Frontend: Svelte, shadcn
- Backend & Infra: AWS, Terraform, Java 21, NodeJs, Maven
- Integrations: Xero, Stripe, Square, weighbridge systems, camera and drone software
In this role you will be carrying out the following duties:
- Complete robust systems architecture for remaining 11 modules of the SaaS product
- Lead from the front and mentor a team of two full stack developers
- Own DevOps and infrastructure management (AWS, Terraform)
- Use your creative mind to develop new features and deliver from architecture to implementation
- Collaborate closely with Product PM and UX for scalable and customer friendly solutions
- Contribute to technical decision-making, planning, and execution
- Create clear, detailed documentations and diagrams for the product
To be successul in this role we are seeking someone who possess the following experience:
- 5+ years as a full stack developer, with experience in a lead or architect-level role
- Strong experience with cloud architecture and IaaC (Terraform and AWS is preferable)
- Strong working experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as Svelte
- Experience with complex third-party integrations (especially finance, hardware, or IOT which can be found within Mining or Quarry organisations)
- Strong understanding of Cyber security fundametnals
- A collaborative approach and the ability to solve complex problems
