About the Role
The Infrastructure Engineer will support the design, integration, and sustainment of complex ICT infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations.
You will provide technical leadership across infrastructure domains, working across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholder groups. The role requires strong design capability, sound engineering judgement, and a disciplined approach to governance and assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide reporting on current infrastructure and hardware environments
Lead the design, specification, and selection of infrastructure solutions
Consider performance, security, integration, data, and lifecycle requirements
Coordinate subsystem and system-level integration
Provide technical leadership and advice across multiple projects
Support vendor engagement, evaluation, and implementation activities
Resolve complex infrastructure-related issues and deficiencies
Deliver engineering documentation, assurance artefacts, and quality evidence
Ensure infrastructure deliverables meet schedule, performance, and value-for-money expectations
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong background in enterprise or Defence-aligned infrastructure environments
Experience designing secure, scalable infrastructure solutions
Proven stakeholder engagement and technical leadership skills
Strong documentation and assurance discipline
