About the Role
We are looking for a capable EUC Team Lead - Windows 11 Rollout to drive the delivery of a large-scale Windows 11 upgrade across multiple locations. You will provide leadership to a team of deployment technicians and engineers, ensuring upgrades are completed smoothly, securely, and with minimal impact on business operations.
Operating as the on-site EUC lead, you will serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex deployment challenges, including hardware compatibility, application issues, and user profile migrations. You will be instrumental in maintaining high service standards throughout pilot phases, on-site upgrade activity, and post-deployment support.
This role requires regular travel and suits a proactive, hands-on leader who can balance technical delivery with strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the Windows 11 deployment team
- Coordinate schedules, allocate resources, and ensure site preparedness
- Own and resolve escalated technical issues during rollout activities
- Diagnose and address device, application, and user environment issues
- Promote standardised deployment processes and maintain accurate documentation
- Oversee pilot deployments and support structured rollout waves
- Deliver professional, in-person support to end users during upgrade windows
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders and project teams
- Partner with EUC Engineers, Change Management, Business Analysts, and the Project Manager to track progress and meet key milestones
- Support knowledge transfer and transition into BAU support functions
- Ensure a positive end-user experience throughout the deployment lifecycle
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in an EUC leadership or senior desktop deployment capacity
- Strong practical knowledge of:
-Microsoft Autopilot
-Microsoft Intune
-SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager)
-Cloud-managed device policies and configuration
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale Windows OS upgrades (Windows 10 to Windows 11 advantageous)
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, applications, and user profiles
- Experience coordinating multi-site technology rollouts
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
- Comfortable operating within fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
- Flexible to travel as required
