Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced .Net Developer to join the Cloud Applications Section within the Business Solutions Branch of a large federal government department. This role is integral to the ongoing development of ICT projects, leveraging modern cloud technology and the Microsoft stack.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using .Net and Azure resources such as Functions, Logic Apps, PaaS SQL, API Manager, Service Bus, Entra ID, and YAML pipelines.
  • Design and implement model-driven apps, ensuring applications adhere to the least privilege principle for security.
  • Develop web applications using modern reactive JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • Establish and manage software repositories and develop CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.
  • Apply critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills to lead solution design and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively within an agile delivery team, demonstrating flexibility and multi-disciplinary teamwork.
Requirements:
  • full-stack development experience with Microsoft .Net.
  • Proven experience designing and developing applications in .Net using Azure resources.
  • Intimate knowledge of securing applications to meet Cyber ISM standards.
  • Demonstrated experience with modern reactive JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • Expertise in establishing and managing software repositories and developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead solution design.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality services as part of a team.
