We're looking for a Data Business Analyst with a strong background in data-driven projects who can confidently bridge business needs with technical delivery. You'll play a key role in shaping data models, integrations, and customer insights capabilities that directly influence engagement, loyalty, and marketing effectiveness.
Purpose of the Role:
The Data Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in delivering a customer data platform (CDP) initiative aimed at establishing a single, trusted view of the customer. This role will bridge business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that data-driven insights and marketing capabilities,such as segmentation, personalisation, and preferences management-are effectively supported by a robust data foundation.
What you'll be doing:
Lead workshops with cross-functional stakeholders to define and document business and functional requirements.
Translate marketing and customer experience goals into clear data and integration requirements.
Partner with Data Engineers and Architects to deliver within an Azure-based data ecosystem.
Support testing and validation across data pipelines, models, and transformations.
Collaborate with external vendors to align technical delivery and resolve integration challenges.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst on data-centric or customer analytics projects.
Solid understanding of data models, pipelines, and SQL (ideally within Azure environments such as Data Factory or Synapse).
Working knowledge of Single Customer View (SCV), Customer 360, or Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
Experience supporting marketing or personalisation use cases such as segmentation or audience targeting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate between business, data, and technical teams.
