We're looking for a Data Business Analyst with a strong background in data-driven projects who can confidently bridge business needs with technical delivery. You'll play a key role in shaping data models, integrations, and customer insights capabilities that directly influence engagement, loyalty, and marketing effectiveness.

Purpose of the Role:
The Data Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in delivering a customer data platform (CDP) initiative aimed at establishing a single, trusted view of the customer. This role will bridge business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that data-driven insights and marketing capabilities,such as segmentation, personalisation, and preferences management-are effectively supported by a robust data foundation.



What you'll be doing:

  • Lead workshops with cross-functional stakeholders to define and document business and functional requirements.

  • Translate marketing and customer experience goals into clear data and integration requirements.

  • Partner with Data Engineers and Architects to deliver within an Azure-based data ecosystem.

  • Support testing and validation across data pipelines, models, and transformations.

  • Collaborate with external vendors to align technical delivery and resolve integration challenges.



What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on data-centric or customer analytics projects.

  • Solid understanding of data models, pipelines, and SQL (ideally within Azure environments such as Data Factory or Synapse).

  • Working knowledge of Single Customer View (SCV), Customer 360, or Customer Data Platforms (CDP).

  • Experience supporting marketing or personalisation use cases such as segmentation or audience targeting.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate between business, data, and technical teams.

$700 PD Inclusive of Super - 6 Months initial contract plus extensions
