The Network are seeking an experienced Data Architect / Senior DBA to work within a Federal Government environment.
12 months + 2 x 12 month extensions
Open to ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, TAS (hybrid available)
As a Data Architect, you'll design, build and manage enterprise database solutions, ensuring performance, availability, security and compliance. You'll lead database operations across SQL Server and Oracle platforms, support incidents and enhancements, drive automation and monitoring, and contribute to major technology initiatives including lifecycle upgrades and cloud migrations.
What you'll be doing:
Designing, implementing and maintaining SQL Server and Oracle database solutions
Managing database performance, availability, security and compliance
Leading and supporting incidents, requests and operational improvements
Driving automation, monitoring and optimisation initiatives
Contributing to major projects including upgrades and PaaS migrations
Maintaining documentation and supporting continuous improvement
Who we're looking for:
Must have:
5+ years' experience in IT engineering, design/build or Senior DBA roles
Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server (MS-SQL, Azure SQL) and/or Oracle
Proven experience managing secure, high-availability database environments
Highly desirable:
Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent experience
Database certifications (SQL, Oracle or similar)
Experience working within compliance-driven environments (ISM, Essential 8)
