Role Overview:
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in responding to and mitigating cyber threats within the organization. Your responsibilities will include incident response, maintenance of security tools and systems, risk assessments, documentation, and supporting our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Respond promptly to Cyber Security incidents, following documented Incident Response Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans to ensure swift resolution.
  2. Conduct patching and maintenance activities for relevant Cyber Security tools and systems to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  3. Perform Security Risk Assessments and threat analyses, making recommendations for improvement based on findings to enhance our security posture.
  4. Document and retain records and logs related to Cyber Security incidents in our accredited network, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Demonstrate familiarity with VMWare and Kubernetes environments to support our evolving infrastructure.
  6. Utilize knowledge of the ELK Security Stack and Tanium Endpoint device support to enhance our Cyber Security capabilities (advantageous).
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Cyber Security incident response and mitigation.
  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security tools and systems maintenance.
  • Ability to conduct Security Risk Assessments and threat analyses.
  • Experience with documentation and record-keeping in accredited networks.
  • Familiarity with VMWare and Kubernetes environments.
  • Advantageous: Familiarity with ELK Security Stack and Tanium Endpoint device support.
  • Existing NV2 clearance is required for this position.
