Azure DevOps Engineer

  • 6 months contract + 12-month extension

About the role

Work in the Enterprise Integration team on deployment of integration solutions across diverse enterprise applications and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automating deployment processes, integrating automated testing, and maintaining software quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure tools is essential, along with a commitment to streamlining development pipelines and ensuring the integrity of the integration ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage efficient and reliable CI/CD pipelines for integration solutions.
  • Oversee the configuration of development, testing, and production environments, ensuring accurate replication for rigorous integration testing.
  • Utilize advanced scripting and automation skills with tools like PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, and YAML.
  • Implement monitoring solutions for performance, availability, and security, with proactive issue resolution through alerting systems.
  • Integrate automated testing, including security practices like SAST and DAST, to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with project goals.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for deployment processes and configurations, fostering knowledge sharing.

Key skills

  • Experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Specialized in Microsoft Azure with proficiency in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  • PowerShell, AWS experience will be a plus.

Eligibility requirements

Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
