    About the role

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Application Support and Sustainment Resource to join our dynamic team. The primary goal of this role is to support and sustain our critical applications, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. The key applications in focus are Azure Monitor and AppDynamics.

    As an Application Support and Sustainment Resource, you will be responsible for monitoring application health, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous availability and efficiency of our applications. Utilising Agile methodology, you will participate in regular sprints and stand-up meetings, contributing to the iterative improvement of our systems.

    Skills & experience

    • Strong background in application support and application development
    • Proficient with Azure Monitor and AppDynamics
    • Experience in configuring and maintaining monitoring tools
    • Skilled in analysing performance data and resolving incidents promptly
    • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods
    • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and maintain the health of critical applications
    • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently
    • Configure and optimise monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor and AppDynamics)
    • Collaborate with development and operations teams to drive performance improvements
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprints and stand-ups
    • Deliver consistent enhancements to application availability and reliability
    • Provide after-hours support and deployment as needed

    Clearance requirements

    Must be Australian Citizen with active security clearance or eligible to obtain one

    On-call and Shift Expectations

    This position involves managed services responsibilities, including shift work and on-call duties to ensure ongoing support and client satisfaction. Flexibility is essential for this role, including availability for after-hours deployments.

    Location Requirements

    Must be willing to work from officer/client office location 3 days a week (2 days WFH)
