The Network are seeking an AGSVA NV1 cleared Technical Writer working inside a Federal Government Department.
Contract to 30/09/2027 + 2 x 12 month extensions

As a Technical Writer you will deliver high-quality documentation supporting ICT delivery assurance and governance compliance across deployed environments. You will produce, review and maintain technical and operational artefacts, working closely with SMEs to ensure accuracy, clarity and alignment with standards. You will also support system managers with documentation, reporting and records management to ensure consistent and compliant outputs.
Who are we looking for:
Must have:
o Proven experience as a Technical Writer in complex ICT or Defence environments.
o Strong experience producing and maintaining technical and operational documentation.
o Ability to work closely with SMEs to translate technical information into clear documentation.
Have specialist ICT skills and knowledge in the following:
o Authoring and maintaining technical documentation, artefacts and process documents.
o Reviewing and editing content to meet governance, compliance and template standards.
o Producing briefs, reports and formal correspondence.
o Managing records and maintaining documentation libraries.
o Understanding of ICT systems and ability to document functional specifications and capabilities.
Desirable:
o Experience working within Defence documentation standards and frameworks.
