System Analyst
- Location: Canberra
- 6 months contract + 12-month extension

About the role
You will collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and translate integration requirements into effective solutions. Responsibilities include systems analysis, solution design, overseeing implementation, testing, documentation, issue resolution, and promoting continuous improvement. You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring seamless connectivity of on-premises and cloud-based enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure tools.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team to document integration requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of business processes.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify integration opportunities, inefficiencies, and improvements in existing systems.
- Develop detailed design specs and architectural diagrams for integration solutions, aligning with business needs.
- Oversee implementation, working closely with developers to ensure solutions meet design specs and best practices.
- Plan and execute testing strategies, including integration and performance testing, for reliable and accurate integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, collaborating with the technical team to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration solutions, including technical specs and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure integrations align with business goals and objectives.
Key skills
- Proven experience in Systems Analysis, ideally within enterprise integration or data-focused roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and data modeling concepts.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
