In this exciting opportunity you will be a pivotal part in contributing to the optismisation of ITSM processes and infrastructure within the Department and will be working in a fantastic developing team environment.
Skills and Experience we are looking for the role:
- Proficiency in various aspects of IT infrastructure, including: - Operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Unix, Wintel). - Networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). - Server administration (e.g., Active Directory, Exchange Server, virtualisation platforms). - Database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle). - Security principles and best practices (e.g., firewalls, encryption, access control). - Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including non-technical Senior Managers.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business, technology, external suppliers and other subject-matter experts.
- Relevant Certifications in: - CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - VMware Certified Professional (VCP)- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
