Systems Engineer

Overview: The Defence Learning Technologies (DLT) team is on a mission to enhance the Defence Education & Training (E&T) landscape.
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable team member to join us in developing and testing cutting-edge E&T capabilities within the Defence Learning Technologies Environment (DLTE) Sandbox.
This role is crucial in showcasing a modern, scalable, and federated E&T domain, which will support the evolving training requirements of Defence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the DLT team to design and implement the DLTE Sandbox.
  • Conduct Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDTE) to advance E&T initiatives.
  • Validate the Total Learning Architecture (TLA) and establish interoperability systems for testing use cases.
  • Work in an agile and flexible manner, adapting to changing priorities and findings during testing.
  • Engage with Defence Services to ensure the DLTE meets operational needs and integrates lessons learned from the Sandbox environment.
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proficiency in some or all of the following technologies: Windows or Linux, SQL, Cloud, SharePoint, Networking, Hyper-V, Nutanix, data.
  • Experience in developing and testing digital learning solutions, preferably in a Defence or government context.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
