About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and impressive IT Project Manager to spearhead a critical bid and tender process for a potentially game-changing corporate initiative. This is a high-impact role that will shape this organization's future. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's growth trajectory. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team and have visibility across all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end bid process from an IT project management perspective, encompassing initial strategy development, technical solution design, resource allocation, risk assessment, and final submission coordination
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive, competitive proposal
- Manage timelines, resources, and budgets throughout the bid lifecycle
- Analyse client requirements and align the proposed solutions
- Collaborate closely with the Bid team to meet client needs
- Lead the IT project team ensuring adherence to governance and quality standards to deliver all key milestones and outcomes successfully
Skills & Experience:
We are looking for an innovative and outgoing IT Project Manager who has a proven track record of success in managing technology projects.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of IT project management experience
- Proven track record leading large-scale bids or tenders (>$10M)
- Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and emerging technologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Experience in the construction or engineering sector preferred
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proven ability to drive results and deliver projects on time and within budget
- You must be immediately available or 2 weeks’ notice period max - this is an urgent requirement
*This is a Fixed-term term-contract role, there is no option for daily rate.
