About the Company
Located in a major business district within Sydney, this leading private sector organization has recently embarked on an enterprise business and technology transformation with a road map scheduled for the next 3 years.

Role Overview:
As the Project Manager who is an expert in Operational Technology, you will lead a dynamic team in delivering a high profile transformative Operational Technology project. This role is pivotal in ensuring the project's success, delivering it on time and within budget. You'll manage dedicated team members, engage stakeholders, and uphold governance framework throughout the project lifecycle.
 
About the role
  • Taking primary accountability for the full delivery of an Operational Technology Transformation project, ensuring it meets objectives on time and within budget.
  • Managing the workload of project team members to ensure efficient allocation to prioritized workstreams.
  • Facilitating collaboration with stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues across functions and workstreams.
  • Adhering to governance structure and revising project plans as needed for a consolidated view.
  • Tracking project budget, benefits, timelines, issues, and risks/opportunities against plan.
  • Providing monthly updates to the OT Transformation Steering Committee.
  • Developing detailed budgets and plans for project phases.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to estimate effort and cost for critical project aspects.

Skills & experience
  • Must have exceptional communication and verbal skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully delivering multi-million-dollar projects within specified timelines and budget constraints.
  • Robust leadership capabilities, capable of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve goals.
  • Proven expertise in cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders across all organizational levels, including Executive and C-level management.
  • Please note, there will be travel involved with this role.
