Network & Security Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network & SecurityEngineer to implement, support, and optimise enterprise network infrastructure across data centre and hybrid cloud environments. This role is heavily focused on routing, switching, firewalling, and network performance across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
iIplement, and support enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Data Centre).
Manage and optimise routing and switching environments (Cisco / Fortinet/ Arista).
Configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls and security policies.
Support BGP routing, IPSec/VPN, and identity-based network access (Cisco ISE).
Manage load balancing solutions (F5, Kemp, NetScaler).
Perform network health checks, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
Monitor network infrastructure and proactively resolve incidents within SLA.
Maintain accurate network diagrams, design documentation, and handover documents.
Support hybrid cloud networking (Azure preferred).
Technical Requirements
3+ years network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Strong Data Centre routing & switching experience (CCNP or equivalent preferred).
Fortinet firewall experience (NSE4/NSE5 desirable).
Experience with Cloudflare (DNS, Load Balancing, ZTNA).
Strong knowledge of BGP, VPNs, and network monitoring (SNMP, alerting).
Experience with Load Balancers (F5, Kemp, NetScaler).
Hybrid cloud networking experience (Azure preferred).
Requirements
