Role: EL2 Program Lead Architect
The EL2 Program Lead Architect (Labour Hire) accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality design outcomes across a major projects and provide a cross-program view of architecture plans and future functions of the Department. The role includes responsibilities for daily management and leadership of a team of solution and cyber architects within the fraud domain.
This senior level architecture position is responsible for ongoing development of systems architecture roadmap and blueprints for multiple projects across the fraud domain, with specific focus on delivery of the data platforms, service enhancement and digital transformations required to improve Department fraud detection and compliance objectives.
The EL2 Program Lead Architect (Labour Hire) is required to coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake design and advice to detailed or sensitive projects that may include delivery of strategic and operational outcomes that support the NDIA's objectives.
Key duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Develop an overall strategic roadmap that brings together multiple individual solution and cyber architectural designs into an integrated view for the Program to manage integrations and risks.
- Manage a team of experienced solution and cyber architects, including mentoring, support, coaching, performance and assurance reviews.
- Deliver high quality solution architectures that are fit for business purpose.
- Provide thought leadership on program architecture and cyber architecture strategy.
- Align solutions with Agency goals and objectives and program reference models, principles, policies, standards, and roadmaps.
- Working alongside business leadership and senior stakeholders to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved.
- Maintain technical oversight and helps solve complex issues arising during project delivery, and ensure alignment is maintained with the enterprise architecture.
- Facilitate technical decision making and chair various Architecture Governance and Design forums.
- Present end to end project solutions for approval at the relevant Governance Councils.
