About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the flexibility to be based in Sydney, Adelaide, or Melbourne, supporting the organisation's critical integration initiatives across multiple systems and platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless data and system integrations that enable efficient business operations and support digital transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integration solutions between various enterprise systems, applications, and third-party platforms
- Implement API integrations, data mapping, and workflow automation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes and procedures
- Conduct testing and quality assurance for new and existing integrations
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging integration technologies and best practices
- Participate in project planning and delivery across multiple locations
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in system integration and data management
- Strong experience with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Microsoft Azure Logic Apps, or similar)
- Proficiency in API development and management (REST, SOAP, GraphQL)
- Experience with database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong understanding of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and transformation techniques
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of middleware technologies and message queuing systems
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
