About the role

To be successful in this role, the Incident Response Manager will respond to security incidents when they occur and take any necessary steps to restore service and return the business to normal operations as quickly as possible. You will liaise with managers, engineers and customers when required to ensure all incidents are resolved within established SLA timeframes.

  • Triage, Prioritisation, coordination, and documentation of critical incidents
  • Major and Critical Incident Management
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan
  • Represent the Service Assurance team within New Product Introduction meetings
  • Quality Assurance checks on past and current incidents
  • Last point of escalation for incident response and report
  • Provide excellent customer experience through effective collaboration with all internal/external skateholders
  • Maintains an awareness of technology advancements and ITSM best practice

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Incident and Major Incident Management, ideally in a Managed Services
  • Experience in a technical change and incident management
  • Working knowledge of CISCO and/or Juniper data networks
  • Solid understanding of the impact Major Incidents have on other ITSM processes
  • Experience managing severe incidents and documenting
  • Strong communications skills and stakeholder management expertise
  • Ability to drive process improvement across a complex organisation
  • Demonstrated experience with ITIL and ISO27001
