About the Role: The Network Technology, in partnership with its parent company Insitec, is seeking a Configuration/Reporting Analyst (SFIA level 3) to join our team onsite with our Defence client. 

Key Responsibilities:

Configuration Management:
  • Administer site codes and configuration databases.
  • Maintain accurate records of network assets, configurations, and related data.
  • Ensure compliance with Asset and Configuration Management processes.
Online Access Administration:
  • Manage access to graphical network software.
  • Monitor system usage and troubleshoot access issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure appropriate access rights.
Logical Diagram Development:
  • Curate and develop logical diagrams for network components.
  • Provide clear visual representations for effective communication.
Software Design and Testing:
  • Participate in software design activities.
  • Develop software design documentation aligned with requirements.
  • Create integration and unit test scripts.
  • Conduct thorough application software testing.
Technical Expertise:
  • Provide expert advice on application-related matters.
  • Assist in incident resolution during and after applications development.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance application support activities.
Issue Communication and Resolution:
  • Report asset and configuration issues promptly.
  • Identify exceptions and anomalies.
  • Adjust processes to eliminate identified exceptions.
Customer Satisfaction:
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality services.
  • Uphold contractual obligations related to Asset and Configuration services.
