Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced ICT Infrastructure and Application Monitoring Technician to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective monitoring and event management solutions to support the demanding nature of distributed applications in a complex and virtualised environment. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Elastic, particularly Enterprise Search and Kibana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement efficient event management processes and automation.
- Configure and maintain central monitoring platforms, conducting daily health checks and providing break/fix support.
- Manage the integration of new technologies into monitoring systems.
- Provide Elastic support to both internal and external customers.
- Participate in the governance of application and infrastructure monitoring design.
- Significant experience in Application Performance Monitoring, utilizing Elastic Observability.
- Proficiency in Elastic Enterprise Search and Kibana.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js.
- Knowledge of distributed tracking techniques.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and evaluation skills.
This role requires an NV2 AGSVA security clearance
