About the role
We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Test Lead with previous web application and UX testing experience. On a day-to-day basis you will be expected to:
- Escalate & mitigate risks and issues in a timely manner within existing risk frameworks
- Assist in defining business system requirements by providing or facilitating business knowledge input
- Review, analyse and evaluate business processes and needs from a technical and business perspective using knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular business area
- Develop and assist in executing test plans, test conditions and test scripts using system design/requirement documents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, scripts, and quality control
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on discovering bugs and prevention
- Create Test Objective Matrices to ensure sufficient test coverage
- Execute test cases (System, Integration, Cross-browser / Device, Regression & Smoke testing).

Skills & experience
- Web application implementation experience in an agile environment
- At least 3-5 years in business analysis and/or testing of web application
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies
- Strong test planning and execution expertise including all forms of testing including system, functional, regression, integration, UAT and PVT
- Experience guiding User Acceptance Testing activities
- Experience in testing modern responsive web applications and mobile apps across multiple browsers and devices
- Web application implementation experience in an agile environment
- Exposure to Test Automation
