About the Company 

Working with a well-established Government department who are undergoing an expansive technology transformation and uplift – large body of work with a view for extension.

About the Role  

Sitting within Project Management Office, who centralise resources to drive major programs, project initiatives, and BAU activities. The Senior ICT Business Analyst will enhance business systems, analyse processes, and facilitate business improvements. Working with internal and external partners, this role is essential in optimizing business performance through effective ICT support. 

  • Enhance business systems by aligning processes with required capabilities and developing business cases to support objectives. 

  • Manage stakeholder relationships to identify, document, and implement ICT solutions. 

  • Conduct gap analysis, feasibility assessments, and collaborate with system developers to ensure successful solution delivery. 

  • Gather and document user requirements through interviews, workshops, and various analysis techniques. 

  • Develop technical requirements, functional specifications, and conduct workshops with SMEs to refine these requirements. 

  • Work closely with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes. 

Skills & Experience  

  • Outstanding skills in communication and stakeholder engagement. 

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct workshops and gather technical requirements. 

  • Proven experience as a technical analyst in agile and waterfall methodologies. 

  • Proficient in crafting technical requirements and functional specifications. 

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

  • Certified in Business Analysis (e.g., IIBA, CAP).
