About the role
Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced System Administrator (IBM IIS). The IBM IIS Administrator will provide system administration for enterprise data platform. This role is for candidates at the APS6 equivalent level.
Tools in use include:
- IBM InfoSphere Information Server
- IIS Rstudio Pro and Connect GitLAB SAS Qlik Sense.
This role is primarily to aid in the system administration and support for IBM IIS.
Key Duties:
- Day to day operational support for IBM ISS.
- Prepare and implement regular updates to the above systems.
- Prepare and document changes required to maintain the systems.
- Be part of the on-call roster for the ADP team.
- Maintain and create technical documentation.
- Vendor/Stakeholder engagement.
- Help develop and support junior staff.
The required skills:
- Linux OS administration skills.
- Understanding of enterprise applications.
- Basic understanding of networking and database practices.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates must be Australian Citizens, with minimum NV1 Security Clearance to be considered for this opportunity.
