About the role
The Fleet Information Environment modernisation program is the design, build, and deployment of the new Navy ICT environment providing a first class, cyber-worthy, multi-enclave information system that will become the pattern for future naval vessels.
Development, build and implementation of complex Cyber solutions, including:

  • Integration of complex ICT infrastructure software with Security products.
  • Proactive maintenance and upgrade of Cyber tools.
  • Deployment of ICT infrastructure software and applications to Deployed systems.
  • Assist with Development and Build defect remediation.
  • Creation and peer review of Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs) and build guides.

Skills & experience:

  • Highly developed knowledge of security principles including: Zero trust model, Tiered model, Security boundaries.
  • 2-4 years of experience with Security products in the following Cyber areas:
      • Network Security incl Firewalls and NAC, Endpoint Security, Privileged Access.
      • Management, Security monitoring, Logging and Auditing, Application - Whitelisting, Device Control.
      • Knowledge of Fortinet or Cyberark products.
      • Ability to work independently and part of a team, good communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
