About the Company
This leading Australian owned business has witnessed significant growth within Australia and expanding into overseas markets. Due to ongoing success, a large-scale Data re-platforming program needs a highly skilled Project Manager to run with it.
About the role
This is a contract role on a daily rate that will run for a minimum of 9 months. You’ll be reporting to the Project services team and working alongside the whole data and Analytics team.
You will be owning the overall project delivery for the migration of the current data platform to Snowflake.
We’re looking for a strong technical PM with excellent people and change management skills, ideally with experience within the FMCG industry.
Some of the duties include:
- Manage vendors deliverables, timelines, resource allocation and milestones based on the scope and requirements of the migration project.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for overall program.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders, including business owners, IT teams, and data users, to ensure their requirements are considered throughout the data migration process.
- Create training and support plan for users and stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition to the new data environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Project Manager, with a focus on data migration projects
- Understanding of Modern data platforms (snowflake, dbt,fivetran)
- Excellent People skills and change management experience.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple vendors and squad deliveries simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration with diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and vibrant environment, enterprise-level in size but with no-corporate vibes and culture.
