About the role
Reporting to the Customer Solution Lead, the Senior Engineer Infrastructure is responsible for providing AIX and RHEL support for multi-tenanted enterprise solutions to a large number of customers.
- Support Incident, Problem and Change management procedure
- Monitors AIX and RHEL environments
- Build, install & configure AIX and RHEL servers
- Help to define and implement technical standards across the midrange environment
- Build, install & configure Midrange infrastructure and servers according to standards
- Support PM and designers with technical details and propose solutions to meet client requirements.

Skills & experience
- Extensive experience with 7.x + and VIO server 2.2+, NIM
- Strong understanding of P7/P8/P9+ pSeries hardware architectures
- Experience with Power Virtualization, virtual servers, NPIV and SAN disks
- Experience with writing scripts, Tivoli Backup Solutions, troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and communication skills
- Demonstrated project implementation experience with handover documentation to BAU
