About the role
The Reporting and Insights Analyst will primarily be responsible for uncovering insights and creating data visualisations to support multiple business units This role involves designing, building, and maintaining operational dashboards, fulfilling ad hoc reporting requests, conducting data analysis, and assisting with the development of data engineering pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess both an eye for design and a mind for data.
Skills & experience
- Advanced Power BI dashboard development and Excel analytic skills.
- Demonstrated data modelling capabilities and understanding of data structures
- SQL query writing skills (Postgres or SQL Server experience preferred)
- Ability to create effective data visualisations that communicate insights clearly
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting complex datasets
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
- Track record of successful collaboration within cross-functional teams
- Experience in agile working environments and methodologies
- Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements
- Adaptable approach to working in dynamic, fast-paced settings
Preferred:
- Experience with data cataloguing and governance frameworks
- Python coding skills for data manipulation and analysis
- Knowledge of API integrations and AWS cloud environment
- Familiarity with dbt for data transformation processes
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub
- Enthusiasm for developing broader data engineering capabilities
