About the role

The Client Solution Lead will lead and mentor a large team of Network Engineers. It is a technical role focused on ensuring continuity and availability of services provided to their clients. This role is responsible for the continued delivery of the business services running across diverse platforms and to direct and set required standards around testing, the integration, deployment, transition, go-live and operational tasks.

  • Lead peers to ensure managed environments are consistent with the business objectives and compatible with existing applications and security and risk requirements
  • Leverage and share knowledge with the team on existing systems, processes, and technologies, both within and cross practices.
  • Manage and scale relevant in-scope systems used for managed services and work with product management, sales, architecture, project delivery, support, and finance to ensure customer and business requirements are met.
  • Regular reporting on performance, capacity and any other issues which have the potential to cause degradation to the core network or other infrastructure components in your remit
  • Develop automation for the management of technical platforms and work with other teams to provide enhanced integration.
  • Conduct ongoing system audits to evaluate the utility and efficiency of the system's hardware, software and communications components and the effectiveness in meeting management information needs.
  • Be the escalation point, coach and mentor engineers in their development and capability, instilling a solution focused mindset to problems
  • Manage the team's workload and performance

  • VPN and Identity Management - Checkpoint, ASA, Netscaler
  • Network Monitoring and troubleshooting - OpenManger
  • Broad software and hardware knowledge
  • Compliance importance within the Financial sector
  • Automation experience with various tools
