About the Company
You will be working with a market leader within their industry, with over 2500 employees and an established IT team. This role would suit an individual which has broad experience across application Development, Infrastructure, and Security, as well as leadership and mentoring capabilities.
This is an interesting time to join the team as they have several large transformation projects, some of which includes revamping the data analytics, next-gen IoT (telematics), and omni-channel digital experience platforms implementation.
About the role
The successful candidate will be acting as the liaison between the Architecture (strategy) and Delivery teams (dev, sec, ops), you'll equip these teams to deploy quality solutions by providing established frameworks, standards, patterns, processes, and tooling that are documented, communicated, and actionable.
- Collaborating with Project and BAU teams to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensuring designs and solutions are resilient, performing, and secure
- Influencing prioritisation of improvements of the 'IT platform' with the IT management and Delivery teams
Skills & experience
- Strong DevOps experience
- Diverse IT knowledge base - primarily development & .net, jss and SQL, Microsoft based infrastructure & Azure cloud, security & authentication, authorisation & encryption.
- Azure PAAS
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Leadership, coaching and mentoring of dev teams.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) background is very beneficial.
