About the role
- Development, build and maintenance of Elastic Stack products.
- Integration of Elastic Stack products with complex ICT infrastructure software and hardware.
- Develop and tune Elastic Stack dashboards to meet customer needs.
- Develop and tune Elastic search and alerting.
- Creation and peer review of Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides and related artefacts.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced technical SME with an active Defence NV-2 clearance. They have excellent people skills and can communicate technical solutions and issues to all levels. They are independently motivated, driven and collaborative with both internal and external parties.
Skills & experience:
- Proven experience with Elastic Stack
- Knowledge of SIEM technologies and processes
- Excellent scripting and associated discipline knowledge (PowerShell, IaC, version control systems, yaml, pwsh, painless)
- Proven experience with Windows and Linux server technologies
- Knowledge of GitHub, DevOps tools and methodologies
- Good communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
